We are beginning another exciting year and looking forward to 2010 being the beginning of our BEST DECADE YET!  We have put together 5 successful years of health & fitness in Clinton County and the surrounding area and know this year we’ll touch even more people who will realize that there’s a lot more to GETting FIT than just working out.  It’s all about health, happiness and longevity.  Our community and our economy are on the recovery, so look out this year because we are going to spread our positive energy throughout.  If you know of someone who might need some help in achieving their resolutions, please consider forwarding this email to them. Together, let’s make 2010 our BEST YEAR YET!
 
GET FIT’s New Manager! James Brooks
Congratulations to our NEW Manager, James Brooks! 
James has been a part of GET FIT for nearly two years. 
We’re certain most of you have all met James at one time or another since he is working most of our hours of operation. 
James’ is committed to bringing positive changes to GET FIT and to overseeing that all of our members get the best service possible.  Please let James know of any suggestions you may have to make our facility better.  We are excited about this promotion and proud to make James the Manager of GET FIT.
 
NEW CLASSES in February!

TURN AND BURN- Spin to upbeat tunes while burning mega calories! A variety of music and rides to maximize your Spinning experience. Start your day off right!  Tuesdays/Thursdays, 6:30am with Jen,  Certified Spinning Instructor and Group Fitness Instructor.

POWER DRILL - GET FIT’s popular class, The Drill,  just got super-charged! Welcome to POWER DRILL - cross training at it’s best! This class offers a variety of workouts including cardio, strength, agility, dance and pure fun! Be a “10” in 2010! Dedicate 10 weeks to attending Power Drill on Wednesday mornings and Thursday evenings and see and feel the difference! Wednesdays at 6:30am and Thursdays at 5:30pm. Class is led by Lorry Cox, Certified Group Fitness Instructor.

DANCE PARTY - 50 minutes of dance moves that will blast through those calories. Learn new moves each week and watch your coordination and fitness level improve. All levels are welcome! Super hot moves to transform your body. It’s so much fun everyone will be wanting more! Class is led by Lorry Cox, Certified Zumba and Group Fitness Instructor. Tuesdays at 5:30pm.

LUNCHTIME EXPRESS - The name says it all! Burn maximum calories in minimum time. This 30 minute Spinning class is suitable for everyone but “geared” towards individuals who want to get the most out of their lunch break. Class is led by Danielle Davis, Certified Spinning Instructor. Mondays/Wednesdays at 12:15pm.

SPINNING 8 WEEK WEIGHT LOSS CHALLENGE

The Spinning 8-Week Weight Loss Program will give you a new approach to GETting FIT and losing weight. Each week the program guides you to develop a lifestyle that incorporates motivation, sound nutrition, healthy habits and of course, energizing, calorie-burning Spinning rides. Don’t wait to get started on the new you for 2010! Class will be held on Mondays at 6:00pm and will include lecture to discuss nutrition and training techniques to facilitate weight loss, followed by a 40 minute ride guaranteed to burn calories! Start date to be determined. Class will be led by Cindy Stenger, RN, Certified Personal Trainer and Spinning Instructor. Fee is $79/members, $99/non-members. Sign up at front desk. Space is limited.
Childcare is back!
You asked for it, you got it! Childcare room opens February 1st for children under 10 years of age from 5:30pm-7:30pm, Monday-Thursday. Children 10 and over may wait in the lobby while parents are using the facility. For safety reasons and consideration of other guests we request that children remain in the childcare room or the lobby only.

NEW! Senior Group Personal Training Class

The “Senior Ultimate Workout.” This group personal training class is suitable for senior ladies ages 55 and over. It’s personal training but less than half the cost! You and up to three others will exercise under the direction of a certified personal trainer twice per week in the personal training studio. Class will include strength training and cardiovascular exercise using a variety of equipment. Class days/times to be determined based on interest. Call Lorie for more details.
