Pierson new owner of Get Fit

Get Fit began running under new ownership Thursday. Lorie Greene and her husband Jeff sold the fitness center, located in the Samuel Walker building at 64 W. Main St., to Kali Pierson.

“It’s always been a dream of mine to own a fitness facility down the road, but I never thought it would happen a few months after college,” said Pierson. A varsity softball player in high school and college, fitness was an important part of her life. Personal training became even more important after college when she could no longer rely on competitive sports to keep her in shape.

GET FIT's Group Fitness Program is a challenging program that focuses on improving your cardiovascular stamina and increasing your muscle tone and strength while decreasing your body fat and changing your body composition. Each class consists of a highly structured and unique workout that will bust your butt! This program can give you the results you are looking for, regardless of your body type, age, or conditioning level.
